Photography is more than just capturing a moment; it is about creating a connection. Based in the heart of Tampa Bay, Florida, I am a visual artist dedicated to exploring the depth of human emotion and the subtle beauty of the world around us.
While portraits are the core of my work, my lens is drawn to anywhere life manifests itself—whether in the raw energy of street photography, the quiet dignity of landscapes, or the intricate details of architecture.
My relationship with photography began in childhood, sparked by my father’s passion for the craft. He taught me the fundamentals, instilling a discipline that would later become my career.
This foundation was solidified through formal study under the renowned Russian photographer Valery Samarin. As a member of the creative collective Black Butterfly, I refined my artistic vision, learning that a photograph is not taken, but made. Today, I bring that same depth of training and artistic heritage to every project I undertake in the Tampa Bay area.
Philosophy & Approach
For me, photography is a shared space of co-creation. I do not view a portrait as merely an image “for me” or “for the client.” Instead, I see it as an absolute creation—a piece of art that stands on its own, born from the unique chemistry between photographer and subject.
I believe in the power of authenticity. My goal is to create a “point of contact” where technical skill meets raw emotion, resulting in images that are honest, alive, and evolving.
