About me
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I am a photographer based in đź”— Tampa Bay, Florida.
Portraits are at the heart of my work. I truly love people and the connections we create together. At the same time, I explore street photography, landscapes, animals, and architecture. I am drawn to any subject where the presence of life can be felt.
My journey with photography began in childhood. My father was passionate about it and taught me the basics. At school, I was a member of the photography club. Later, I studied under the renowned Russian photographer Valery Samarin and joined the creative collective Black Butterfly. These experiences shaped my vision and gave me a strong foundation that I continue to build on today.
For me, photography is not just about technique — though I feel confident with it. It is about creating a point of contact, a shared space of co-creation. A portrait is never “for me” or “for the person in front of the camera.” It is an image that exists as its own absolute creation.
I work with both digital and film. I enjoy experimenting with everything that produces an image: pinhole, instant photography, alternative processes. Alongside photography, I also draw and paint. These practices expand my vision and fuel my search for harmony and beauty in the world around me.
