The Visual Archive: Fine Art & Photography Portfolio

Photography is the art of observation. It is about finding something interesting in an ordinary place, or discovering beauty in things often overlooked. Based in Tampa Bay, my work explores the delicate balance between light, shadow, and the human narrative.

Welcome to my portfolio. This collection represents a journey through different mediums—from the sharp precision of modern digital photography to the timeless, organic grain of 35mm and medium format film. Whether capturing the raw emotion of a portrait or the geometric silence of a city street, each image is an invitation to see the world differently.

Landscapes

Fine art landscape photography that explores the environment around us. Featuring scenes from Florida’s coastlines to distant travels, this collection emphasizes composition, texture, and the quiet dignity of nature.

Portraits

Beyond simple likeness, my portrait work seeks to uncover the character and mood of the subject. From professional model portfolios to emotive character studies, these images focus on the connection between the lens and the soul.

Street photo

Unstaged and unscripted. This gallery documents the fleeting moments of urban life. It is an exploration of candid interactions, architecture, and the play of light in public spaces.

Experimental

Photography is not just about capturing reality, but manipulating it. This section highlights my work with pinhole cameras, long exposures, and alternative developing processes. A tribute to the art of analog photography.

Art Nude

An artistic celebration of the human form. These works focus on the aesthetics of the body, using shadow and sculpture-like composition to create tasteful, expressive imagery.

Pushing Limits

Where visual art challenges boundaries. This collection features darker, more complex themes and raw concepts designed to provoke thought and evoke strong emotion.

The Artistic Process: Digital vs. Analog

Three vintage film cameras arranged in a row against an abstract, swirling sepia-toned background. From left to right: a black Art Deco-style box camera, a large folding camera with extended bellows and a prominent lens, and a compact folding camera with a silver top plate
I believe that the tool should fit the vision. While digital cameras offer speed and precision, I often turn to film photography for its unpredictability and “soul.”

There is a unique discipline in shooting with a limited number of frames. It forces you to slow down, breathe, and truly see the shot before clicking the shutter. Many of the works in these galleries were born in a darkroom, not just a computer screen. This dedication to craft is what defines my style as a visual artist in Tampa.

Interested in a Print or Collaboration?

I am constantly updating these collections with new projects. If a specific style resonates with you for a potential shoot, or if you are interested in acquiring a print for your space, I would love to hear from you.
